Anna Stern Off the Grid is temporarily on hold while, as a not-for-profit, we complete a fund-raising drive. Soon we will launch our first annual contest – $1,000 and publication to the winner. The final judge is Pulitzer Prize winner Carl Dennis. We’ve had several fruitful years as a co-op, with significant prizes going to two of our five books and national recognition of all of them. Now, as a not-for-profit, we will require nothing from poets except riveting manuscripts.

Our contest is now officially launched -- the ads have been sent into APR and P&W. They will begin appearing in April and then in May and July. After that we will be expecting manuscripts.
